My Story

​

Before becoming a psychologist, my journey began in a different world—I studied Chemistry and held a steady job. But life had other plans. Through years of travel, personal challenges, and confronting the deeper questions of existence, I encountered emotional turbulence that reshaped my understanding of the human experience. These experiences didn’t break me—they revealed my purpose. I realized I was meant to guide others through their own storms with empathy, clarity, and strength. That’s when I chose to begin my journey in Psychology—not just as a subject, but as a calling. Today, I bring both lived experience and professional training into my therapeutic work, offering clients a grounded, non-judgmental space to heal, grow, and reclaim their lives.

I’m Soumyadeep Koley, a trauma-informed psychologist and certified clinical hypnotherapist with nearly a decade of experience supporting people through some of their most pivotal life transitions. I hold a firm belief that healing is not a destination—it’s a process of coming home to yourself.
