Approach

No, I never started my career as a Psychologist. I had a degree in Chemistry. I had a steady job. Life couldn't be better. Or that was what I thought. And then a series of incidents happened in my life that shattered me well enough to throw me off my comfort zone. I was suffering from Depression and Traumatic Stress. And there began my journey of personal transformation.

To find my healing, I travelled across various parts of the country and found myself involved and working with various forms of healers to different strata of the society. Healing with esotericism was an alluring vortex I couldn't help but get sucked into. Apart from practical experiences with esotericism, I was knee deep into metaphysical and mystical books. I came across many interesting people during my travels, who reshaped me and helped add interesting colours to my character.

Within a year of observation and learning, I found myself healing people with esotericism and metaphysics. I wrote a book about a life-changing experience during my travels, which was published internationally and won worldwide critical acclaim. Feel free to ask for a signed paperback copy of "Her Resurrection" if you find yourself at my therapy room.

So, yeah, back to my story. This all was before I started my formal education to be a certified psychologist in mainstream psychology. In those years I found the call of my life - to be a healer like those wonderful men and women; to be a helping professional. I vowed to be a trauma therapist and start my own clinic at my hometown, because I have overcome my trauma and wanted to help others heal from the devastating effects of trauma.

And I left my high-paying job, went back to zero and restarted my career from then. This time, with a vision. And passion. I believe in continued self-development, and if you come to me, I'll brainwash you into striving for unrelenting self-development, as well.

MY APPROACH

I worship this profession, and without abiding by ethics, one disrespects the profession. That's why, I hold ethics at paramount importance when it comes to counselling and psychotherapy. I follow the American Psychological Association's (APA) Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct for counselling and psychotherapy, and stick to a professional relationship.

I keep judgement inside a box with a very, very heavy lid, before I enter the therapy room. I will always have unconditional positive regard for you, no matter what you confide in me. I shall provide you with a warm, open and empathetic space where you'll be able to rediscover yourself and find your power. Swami Vivekananda once said, "All power is within you; you can do anything and everything." I shall be the conduit for you to realize the power within you.

I craft unique, eclectic therapy suited for you. Because you are unique. One of a kind. One unique masterpiece in 7 billion people who are alive today, and the 105 billion who have ever lived, and trillions more who will ever walk this planet! Imagine what a limited edition Ferrari like that would cost! Your map of the world is as unique as you are, and I believe there is no template therapeutic method that works for one and all.

I don't give advice. I never suggest you to take a path based on my judgement of what's right. Because as Rumi had said, "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I'll meet you there..." The perception of right and wrong is relative. My job is to empower you, and help you see your situation from all from all the perspectives, so that you can make better decisions for yourself.

I don't define you by the behaviour you exhibit. Neither should anyone. You are not depressed. Rather, you are exhibiting the behaviour of depression. You are not anxious, rather you are exhibiting the behaviour of anxiety. Stamping a person based on their behaviour is a huge impediment to the healing process.

You are not broken. Nobody is broken. So I can't fix you. I will help you grow out of your limiting beliefs, so that you can stride gracefully towards the outcome you desire.
